Got Dinner plans

Hien and I spent time together talking about life in general. She has a lot of wisdom and would like to travel to Europe next.

A refined boldness

The architecture here is an eclectic mix of classical elegance, bursting with bright, calming hues. I love the messy extravagance here. It makes me feel the room instead of looking too closely at it.

Critterville

We met critters along the way, and even spotted a lizard lapping up some spilled marguarita by the pool!

We loved the Mexican MJ!

Our resort was fantastic, even though it was only 1/3 full. We had a lot of fun meeting all of the performers and servers. Mexicans are very friendly people and so hospitable; They spoiled everyone. Very talented too.

Poolness

We ended up spending most of our time by the pool with all of the Americans. This is Chris from NJ and he was getting married on July 4th on the beach. He was hilarious with all of his stories.

Mayan Ruins

We took a day to visit the Tulum Ruins. The forecast for the week was thunderstorms, but it ended up being too hot to handle. I don't think we learned anything from this day trip, as the sun was unbearable and there was also barely any information to go by. Probably better to have gone straight to the beach instead.

I Stand Alone

I loved my new bad ass look! Travelling is great because you get to explore different identities and emotions. Heat is purifying and the Mexicans warmed my heart.

Tattoo

Getting a Henna Tattoo. This pic makes it look like I'm in some dark back alley, but I was on the street in Playa Del Carmen on 5th Ave.

Relaxing

This is misleading, as I look so calm and relaxed. We barely slept at all, with two overnight flights, and trips to Congo Bongo's and the disco.
